The Small Animal Management class went to Panhandle to the Carson County Vet Clinic last week. We got to see how a vet clinic works, we looked at parasites in jars, and saw an ultrasound on a fruit cup. We looked at x-rays of small animals and got to see safety pins, push pins, bladder stones, and baby cats. We also were able to count how many fetal kittens a cat had. We also observed a fetal calf in a jar, and an African Barbed Turtle named Kony.
